Artist in the Ambulance (Island, 2003) does a lot with very little. Aside from a few effect choices,
the band plays it straight for just under 40 minutes of post-hardcore chock full of biblical references.
The singer has two modes: nasally shouting/seranation, and gut wrenching screaming. Among the 12
songs you get some melody driven pieces sandwiched with mostly pure aggression. Some highlights are
Under a Killing Moon, Silhouette, Stare at the Sun and Don't Tell and We Won't Ask.
