Saves the Day was a New Jersey pop punk band who had a hardcore influenced guitar sound. They found
mainstream success with the catchy song Shoulder to the Wheel from their album
Through Being Cool (Equal Vision, 1999). This lead to an even bigger hit At Your Funeral
on Stay What You Are (Vagrant, 2001), which also ditches their punk rock roots completely.
