Icelandic indie pop band
This band, along with a few other musicians (Jose Gonzalez, David Bowie & Jack Johnson), was on the soundtrack for
the Ben Stiller movie "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" in 2013, which was a movie I saw in the theater and became a
high-tier movie to me, and the music was a big part of that. My mom took me to Newbury Comics for my birthday
and I picked out a DVD of the movie and a CD of My Head is an Animal (2011, Universal) , only really knowing
the song "Dirty Paws"
from the soundtrack. It has held up pretty well, it's a lot better than other bands in their specific style of indie like
the Lumineers, Mumford & Sons, Vance Joy, and OneRepublic. The only other band like this I would recommend is
The Head & the Heart, who are great. The songs that held up the most are "Slow and Steady" and "Yellow Light"
